Experience the Height of Zip Line Excitement

I took an Uber to the office of the Los Verano’s Canopy Tour, arriving early to make sure I had plenty of time. There were two options to start our adventure: a tour bus or a speed boat. I chose the speed boat, eager for a dash of extra thrill. After signing in and registering, we strolled over to the docking area to board the boat.

Speed Above Scenery

Soon, we were whisked away to Boca de Tomatlan, a serene beach nestled on the edge of the jungle along the southern shores of Banderas Bay. The journey was as breathtaking as it was swift. Once our group gathered, a tour bus took us further into the lush surroundings to the zipline site.

Zip All Your Worries Away

Upon arrival, the place was buzzing with adventurers. Groups who had arrived earlier were already gearing up or taking off on their ziplines, adding to the anticipation in the air. We had to wait our turn, but the surroundings were a distraction in themselves. The area was a medley of lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and even a mini zoo that showcased some local wildlife.

Catch Your Breath at the Top

Our adventure was to span 19 zip-lines distributed over more than 2 miles of the jungle’s canopy. When it was finally our turn, our main guide gathered us for a briefing. He was thorough, explaining how to zip safely across each line. “When you feel you’re going too fast,” he demonstrated, “put a brake like this.” He showed us how to tuck our legs in a crisscross position and hold the handle securely. Each instruction was crucial, ensuring we’d glide safely from one platform to the next.
