Exploring the Charm of Ios, Greece
I hopped on the ferry from Santorini to Ios Island. While waiting for the hotel’s car, I decided to grab a bite at a pizza place, and let me tell you, the food was amazing. Soon enough, the car arrived, and we drove to the hotel, perched beautifully on a hilltop. The hotel sits between the main Chora town and Mylopotas Beach, making it super convenient for me. I usually take the bus to get around, which is a breeze. It only takes 10 minutes to reach both the town and Mylopotas Beach from my hotel. Of course, I made sure to wear my mask during the bus ride, as it’s required.
The island boasts picturesque villages like Chora, perched on a hilltop and providing breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea. Chora’s narrow, winding streets are flanked by whitewashed buildings, traditional tavernas, and shops selling local handicrafts.
